For over 30 years Avert has been a trusted source of high-quality HIV and sexual health information. In 2022-23, we reached over 23 million people across sub-Saharan Africa, enhancing individual knowledge and improving the quality of care that community health workers, peer educators, and health practitioners provide. We are proud to have been the digital content partner of choice in the HIV sector for more than three decades.

In 2023 Avert embarked on a new strategy to transition our flagship products – Be in the KNOW and Boost – to African-led organisations that can best ensure these resources continue to grow and thrive. Boost is transitioning to OPHID in Zimbabwe and LVCT Health in Kenya and Be in the KNOW moving to Kenya Comms Hub.
