Zvandiri is currently adopting Boost to equip its community health workers in Zimbabwe.
About the partnership
Avert has worked with Zvandiri since 2019 to develop, implement and evaluate the Boost mobile app in Zimbabwe. As a grantee of ViiV Healthcare: Positive Action, Zvandiri is currently working with Avert to adopt Boost as a digital job aide to equip its cadres of CATS (Community Adolescent Treatment Supporters), supporting their ongoing learning and their interactions with clients.
Zvandiri has been partnering with Avert since 2019 on the development and roll out of the Community Health Workers HIV Hub, Boost. We have enjoyed being part of an exciting digital approach to supporting community health workers and BOOST has become an important tool for our Community Adolescent Treatment Supporters (CATS) to share information with young people living with HIV.
About Zvandiri
Zvandiri developed their own model of clinic and digital health service delivery for young people living with HIV in Zimbabwe. They work in partnership with governments, and using trained, mentored peers. Zvandiri works in 8 countries with 1600 trained peers called Community Adolescent Treatment Supporters.
