Avert joined the Community Health Impact Coalition (CHIC) in November 2022 as an ally, contributing to the Coalition’s mission and objectives by building the confidence, knowledge, and skills of community health workers (CHWs) to improve the health literacy of their communities through digital health communication tools and resources.

The Community Health Impact Coalition(CHIC) is making professional community health workers the norm worldwide by changing guidelines, funding, and policy. Founded in 2019—now in 40 countries—CHIC includes CHWs and organizations that research, advocate, and activate. Their vision: quality care for all, including those who provide it.
