Avert has worked with Africaid Zvandiri since 2019 on the Boost mobile app
Avert has worked with Africaid Zvandiri since 2019 to develop, implement and evaluate the Boost mobile app in Zimbabwe. Their CATS (Community Adolescent Treatment Supporters) use Boost as a job aid supporting their ongoing learning and their interactions with clients. Boost launched at the end of January 2020.
Zvandiri has been partnering with Avert since 2019 on the development and roll out of the Community Health Workers HIV Hub, Boost. We have enjoyed being part of an exciting digital approach to supporting community health workers and BOOST has become an important tool for our Community Adolescent Treatment Supporters (CATS) to share information with young people living with HIV.
Africaid Zvandiri developed their own model of clinic and digital health service delivery for young people living with HIV in Zimbabwe. They work in partnership with governments, and using trained, mentored peers. Zvandiri works in 8 countries with 1600 trained peers called Community Adolescent Treatment Supporters.
